What is an AAA MAPCast?
An AAA MAPCast is a live, interactive 60-minute conference presented over the telephone and over the Internet. You can attend from any location that has telephone and Internet access. You pay just one registration fee for as many participants as you wish at each call/log-in location.

Note that high-speed Internet access is not mandatory – the system works with dial-up but you must have separate connections for the audio and video portions. You may use cell phones for the audio if you have only one connection.


Who presents at an AAA MAPCast?

Your MAPCast will have one or more speakers who are recognized experts on the topic. Conferences typically include a Q&A session; you can ask questions by phone or instant messaging options.

CPE Credits
AAA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. What does my registration include?

Course Description
The performance of your professionals is what makes them and your firm successful. When underperformance occurs, it should be dealt with quickly and effectively. The question often arises: what should you do? Ignoring, pleading or beating on people are ineffective, although often employed.

There is another way.

Using the science of human performance, the presentation will cover:

> the six factors that affect human performance how to assess each of

> the factors employ interventions that are focused on specific factors

> some proven strategies that others have sucessfully used

When you perform a proper assessment and apply relevant "fixes," you will have a positive impact on people.

Presenter Bio(s)
Guy Gage is the owner of the PartnersCoach, a coaching and consulting firm to professionals in private practice. Holding a license in counseling and a certificate in human performance improvement, he has consulted with and coached professionals for almost 20 years, guiding them to increase their effectiveness and career satisfaction.

Guy began his career as a therapist working with executives and their families. Soon his career expanded to include soft skills training to schools, business and not for profit enterprises. Because of his effectiveness and his personal interest, he transition out of his counseling practice to concentrate on training and strategic planning for professional service firms.

In 1999, Guy expanded his private practice further and joined Troy Waugh and The Rainmaker Academy, an international leadership and marketing training firm from accountants. For 10 years he served as a Senior Instructor with the academy, training and coaching hundreds of accountants in the USA and Europe to generate millions of dollars in revenue for their firms.

In 2001 following a successful consulting practice Guy joined Toothman Rice, PLLC, a 4 office accounting firm in north central West Virginia. Over the course of 7 ½ years he held responsibilities in HR, marketing and firm development as the firm doubled in revenue and profitability.

While enjoying his time at Toothman Rice and The Rainmaker Academy, he wanted to focus more on what he does best: coaching professionals to discover their success potential. In July 2009, Guy launched the PartnersCoach, working with professionals and firms in accounting, financial services, law, engineering and architecture. When asked about how he likes his new venture, he says, “It fits perfectly. It’s what I do; it’s who I am!”

Guy is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and Marshall University Graduate College. He has a Master’s degree in Counseling, holds a license as a Professional Counselor and has a Certificate in human Performance Improvement. His affiliations include the International Society of Performance Improvement, the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the West Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors Association.
