Raymon Pielech Zexter joins LarsonAllen, LLP

Raymon Pielech Zexter PC merged with LarsonAllen, LLP in July, 2011.  The merger provided the New Bedford firm with an extensive array of services as well as international and multi-state capability. The Northeast region has been served by the LarsonAllen office in Quincy, MA.  With this addition, the firm expands its presence in the Northeast to the South Coast region of Massachusetts.

LarsonAllen is a 2,400 employee firm with offices across the country and ranks in the top twenty CPA firms.  Their mission is to “Create a noticeably different client experience.”

MBK Wins Pioneer Valley Business Excellence Award

Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. has been recognized with the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield’s 2007 Pioneer Valley Business Excellence Award in the service category. Awarded by the Chambers’ Division of Business Excellence, and modeled on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Pioneer Valley Business Excellence Award recognizes excellence in six areas: customer satisfaction, process improvement, leadership, human resources, business results, and information sharing. The award was presented at the Affiliated Chambers’ annual meeting June 21.

Barry MacQuarrie, CPA

Barry MacQuarrie, CPA, of Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson, P.C. in Braintree, Massachusetts, has been selected to serve on the AICPA Information Technology Executive Committee.

Ralph Hendrix

Ralph Hendrix, a Director and Chief Operating Officer of Macdonald Page & Co, LLC, with offices in Augusta and South Portland, has been awarded with the Hilltop Award, established in 1967 to recognize outstanding commitment and support for the betterment of the University of Southern Maine.

Ralph is the current Chair of USM’s Corporate Partners Program, and also serves as Co-Chair of the Kresge Challenge Alumni Committee, helping the University to reach its fundraising goals. During his tenure at Corporate Partners, Ralph has assisted in expanding the membership base and the mentoring program. He is a Past President for the National Association of Accounting Administration, and serves on the Board of Directors for the organization.

Michelle Martin

Michelle Martin, Office Manager of Sullivan Bille, P.C. was recently named Top Firm Administrator by Enterprise Network Worldwide. Michelle has made major contributions to Sullivan Bille, P.C. by implementing and overseeing programs that contribute to growth, strategic goals and profitability while creating an employee-friendly environment. She has been with Sullivan Bille, P.C. for over six years and has significant experience in the financial reporting, human resource management, and customer relations areas.

Shirley Levin

Shirley A. Levin was recently promoted to Principal at Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., Ltd. in recognition of her continued efforts to better serve clients and improve the firm. Shirley has been with KLR since 1983 and has had many roles within the Firm. She has been instrumental in the success and growth of the Firm. As Firm Administrator, Shirley has seen the Firm grow from 5 employees to 108, and has continued to accomplish strategic objectives for the firm. She not only assists the Partners in running the day-to-day operations, but manages to assist employees with their professional development in a mentoring, caring fashion.
