In addition to a firm tenure of more than ten years with McDirmid, Mickkelsen & Secrest, Irene has a uniquely diverse background.
A true Renaissance woman, Irene has worked as a paralegal, acted in commercials, owned a #1 ranked agency, and was the runner-up in both the Mrs. Washington and Mrs. United States pageants before her life as an administrator.
Currently, she divides her “down-time” between a multitude of activities including: reading, participating in her book club, teaching aerobics, routinely exercising, traveling, taking on the challenge of golf, volunteering at and attending church. If all that were not enough, Irene also finds the energy to look after her children, their academics, and activities.
When asked where her heart’s desire would take her if she weren’t a firm administrator, Irene replied, “to travel, downsize, see the world, and write a book.” Ultimately, she wants to be remembered as someone who was always kind, caring, and forgiving, never held a grudge, and could get through any crisis with grace and strength…someone who went after what she wanted in life and got it; one who never said never, except to growing old. |
